Appliances – The Pink Whisk Kitchen

So you’ve seen the new kitchen, time for me to show you in a bit more detail.  Hopefully if you’re planning a new kitchen these posts might just give you some ideas.  First up let’s talk major appliances!  There are so many decisions to make when planning a new kitchen, it’s an investment and you want to get the right pieces in the right places, I’m pleased to say that here they’re all working super well.

GEFU Exact Rolling Pin – Review

So tell me what sort of rolling pin you use?  I shall confess to having a love hate relationship with rolling pins, I’ve found they’re a baker specific item and we all have a favourite, even if we don’t realise.

For me they can’t have rotating ends otherwise I roll out like a woman deranged, I like a wooden one but it has to be glazed, I’m not keen on pins with turned ends as they mark the pastry, and pins with tapered ends – supposedly to roll a perfect circle, well you need 100 different rolling out techniques!

Review: Lidl SilverCrest Food Processor (Stand Mixer)

I get asked to work with all sorts of companies to review all sorts of gadgets and kitchenalia,  mostly I don’t take up the offer but I thought this review was one you would be interested in.

Lidl have a stand mixer coming up for sale on 13th November in store and priced at a very reasonable £79.99 it would appear to be a good buy if it does what it claims to!
