Summer holidays is always bedlam in our house, but it does always mean the start of a new series of The Great British Bake Off – and that’s definitely a reason to be happy!
Officially hailed as ‘one of the best things you’ve ever made Mum!’ I reckon this is a recipe you don’t want to miss out on.
It wouldn’t be TPW 12 Days of Baking Christmas without a biscuit on a stick
This year I’m going 3D for Day 3 with Christmas Tree Cookie Lollies!
You will need:
1 x batch of non-spread biscuit dough, recipe here
A set of graduated star cookie cutters (Lakeland have a set if you don’t already)
Individual Millionaires Shortbread with a hint of Halloween – Yes please!
40g caster sugar
140g plain flour
90g light muscovado sugar
315g condensed milk - use a squeezy bottle for no waste, if you use a tin and have some left over try it drizzled over icecream, add it to tea/coffee/hot choc for a creamy sweetener or indeed eat it with a spoon – Thank you Hevz Tasty Treats for the top tips Xx
200g milk chocolate
50g white chocolate
Hello gang! Hope you’ve all had a fab summer hols? Well I’m back to the baking and kicking off with a savoury recipe for these delicious blue cheese and walnut biscuits.
Over the summer I made thousands of biscuits (quite literally) for Alex James – to be served at the launch of Blue Monday at The Big Feastival.
I know I’ve done flapjack before but this one is a bit different, its a thick buttery fudgy type bar flapjack, like you might pick up when you’re out and about. Great big slabs of flapjack with a good old layer of chocolate on the top.
Who wants to dive in head first?
You don’t just have to bake cakes in the your Giant Cupcake Tin – time to get them out from languishing in the back of the cupboard and put them to some inventive uses.
